In its tenth year, Washington Ideas became The Atlantic Festival. Our new name pays homage to 161 years of award-winning journalism, analysis and storytelling, and captures the expansive nature of the event.
Through in-depth interviews with some of today’s biggest thinkers and leaders in technology, politics, business and the arts, we illuminated new ideas, and grappled with the most consequential issues of our time.
From October 2 to 4, 2018, The Atlantic Festival took over multiple blocks of Washington, D.C.’s Penn Quarter. Anchored by our “Ideas Stage” at Sidney Harman Hall, our downtown campus featured book talks, networking receptions, breakout lunches, and much more.
